Clarity Digital Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a Jersey-based marketing agency. For the purposes of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 we are the data controller.

2. Personal data we collect

• Identifiers you give us when you complete a form – name, email, phone (optional).

• Usage data gathered automatically – IP address, browser type, pages visited.

• Cookies and similar tech – essential (site security) and optional (analytics).
  We do not knowingly collect special-category data.

3. How and why we use your data

• To respond to your enquiries and perform any contract or pre-contract steps.

• To run, secure and improve our website (legitimate interests).

• To send the newsletter or other marketing you have explicitly requested (consent).
  We never sell your data and only share it with service providers who help us operate.

4. Who processes your data on our behalf
We use a small number of trusted third parties:

• Google Analytics 4 – anonymised website statistics.

• Cloudflare – security, content delivery network.

• Kit – email marketing (only if you subscribe).
  Each provider signs Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where required.

5. International transfers
Some partners store data in the United States. Transfers are protected by SCCs plus technical safeguards such as encryption in transit and at rest.

6. How long we keep it

• Contact-form messages – up to 24 months.

• Newsletter details – until you unsubscribe.

• Analytics records – 14-month rolling window.

• Back-ups are encrypted and retained for a maximum of 30 days.

7. Your rights
You can, at any time:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.

• Ask us to correct inaccurate data.

• Request deletion or restriction of processing.

• Object to processing where we rely on legitimate interests.

• Withdraw consent for marketing.

• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

• Complain to the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner or the UK ICO.

8. Security measures
We enforce HTTPS, firewalls, regular software updates, MFA for staff accounts and Cloudflare’s Web Application Firewall to minimise unauthorised access.

9. Cookies
Essential cookies load automatically for site performance and security.

10. Changes to this notice
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be flagged on the website and, where practical, emailed to contacts on record. Please check back occasionally to stay informed.
